| first thing first, sorry if my english is bad i dont want to post this really, but i think maybe this must be posted. and no offense. 1 day has 24 hours and this forum is global, i mean member with different time zone are here, and this forum has 4 teachers (for now, maybe not later, check here) with different time zone (maybe, coz idk and i cant check on it), it would be nice if give a shift to teacher, and must log in at that shift. 24 hours / 4 teachers = 6 hours / 1 teacher, wow that was too long, maybe add 2 or 4 more teacher to shorthen the shift 24 hours / 6 teachers = 4 hours / 1 teacher or 24 hours / 8 teachers = 3 hours / 1 teacher recently, (maybe the forum is about to life) theres not many but some ppl are online on 11:00 AM - 16:00 PM GMT +7 (its my local time zone and i log in at that hour), and i see theres no teacher log in, i just often saw Zane and recently is Yugi's Grandad, maybe still dont know what i mean, i will use example, me, new registered member want to participate tourney (must tested first), but my time zone is +7 GMT and i only can online at work time, when i online, theres no teacher, its ok, i online again tomorrow, no teacher again, maybe tomorrow, i online again the 3th day, no teacher again, maybe i should leave, i online again the 4th day, last check, no teacher again, there's no point i log in here, thats it, i think thats explains what i mean, |

| so what you're saying is you think there should be assigned work hours for a mod or admin with a job in this forum, so everyone is able to be served in a timely manner. The problem with this is it violates labor laws for the U.S. (don't know about other countries) and can therefore not be implemented. This is a volunteer site, so expecting a schedule is at each individual's discretion. Thank you for the idea. |

| You're saying, we should dictate our lives around a set schedule so one person will always be on at every minute of the day. Impossible. Life is too random and so are our own individual events[Possessing real worthwhile jobs could be one]. This is simply a hobby, and we have enough teachers at different timezones to cover most of the blindspots, but there will always be a time where a singular teacher is not online due to arbitrary events no matter how many teachers we have. If it happens 4 times consecutively to someone who's new, then that's just plain bad luck for them.
Although i think the suggestion is completely impossible. I will use this opportunity to suggest something more helpful.
This forum is an Academy, yet the Academy's don't get much play or plays at all. Just perhaps some random introduction of people developing their rooms and it dies soon after, then they resort to pure BA and Tournament Fighting, this defeats the entire point of this place being an academy to begin with. See where i'm coming from? Not to mention, testing is disabling people from entering into tournaments and whatnot, when they obviously aren't centered over any dormitory and is purely universal, so we should simply remove the hindrance that is the rule that you must be tested and assigned to be allowed to duel in tournaments or any other event. It only hinders our activity, and such events like the one you described would stop occurring since dorms aren't really important nor is displayed to be important. [You get no special services for a higher group, simply brag rights.]
If the suggestion to remove the restriction is ignored or saw as ridiculous without a counterargument simply because, then we should implement a method of importance of dormitories, such as advantages and whatnot. Perhaps higher DP earnings? At least integrate the "Academy" of the forum into the forum itself, and not simply testandtournaments portion we currently have. Also, the RP system i hope is created will introduce my idea previous said, to even further increase the point of "Academy". |

| The biggest issue with this concept is it's too involved. The entire purpose of these forums is networking to find players to duel. The dorm problem can be solved with exactly one premise; dorm vs. dorm battling! This can encourage teamwork and participation, and synergy amongst dorm members. Imagine a 3 vs. 3 event between slifer and obelisk, with the winning dormitory recieving an item in the main shop free for one time-only! That would be awesome. That said, I believe that all new forum members should be placed automatically in the slifer dormitory, and tested to see if they need to be placed higher, as well as challenged on a regular basis to determine if they are still meeting the standard for their dorm. The other idea is to make all new members wait a 7 day period to be placed in a dorm, of which they must be active 3 days minimum. By active, I mean they must be in the chat, socializing, not just signing in and out. This is a volunteer-only forum, so since no one is getting paid, a schedule isn't feasible, but participation should be required. |

| I don't know what you mean by too involved. I'm simply offering two things:
- Removal of Dormitory Prevention.
- Incentive to being placed higher.
Seems pretty simply to me, and not really focused on anything, just allowing more freedom and increased theme of dormitories of higher ranked. If you were referring to my RP idea, it would make RP'ing and literal dueling more of a thing. Where you can even organize the different in skill in literal as well as visual. Your suggestion towards the Dorm Vs Dorm is amazing. Love it. Enjoyed reading it. I think i jizzed a bit. It could develop an even greater rivalry towards dorm members, and people in obelisk getting pwned by Slifer would be too funny. We could have people want to get a higher rank, by having higher prized tournaments only be allowed through Ra's / Obelisk's just to get people to want to advance and try their hardest. As for the wait, i'm cool with that. Although it's not a unique idea not implemented by "youknowwhat" but it was implemented because it works properly, and it also gives new members a chance to get a feel of this place while not being hindered by anything. Of course to use the waiting, we need to remove the dorm restriction, simply because a week of doing nothing but chatting is terrible as is. |

| **just to refer to one thing , Gunsmaker topic is old , and I added you EK as a teacher upon Gunsmaker suggestion of the different time zones .
**about your suggestion EK , to be in a dorm to be able to BA or tour is something that I will have for the current time , which will end soon and I will remove all these restrictions .
**Cage, I read your ideas as well , and all what you guys think of will be done .. I'm just tiding up things . |

| To keep the feel of an Academy you could introduce a 4th Dorm "Sangan" for example where all new duelists are Placed untill they are tested. The Sangan dorm can BA with each other but until tested can not BA higher dormed members. (gives them a bit of protection from the wolves untill they settle in) It means we dont have random people wandering about the campus |
