This script helps the AI play certain cards more appropriately, as well as setting monsters that have flip effects, or lower ATK than DEF.
Cards and things that are added to this script: - Mystical Space Typhoon (The AI will now only target the opponent's S/T with a priority for Continuous cards, set MST if the opponent has nothing, and also activate a set MST in the End Phase if the opponent set any S/T that turn)
- Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, Torrential Tribute (The AI will only activate these if it can gain card advantage)
- Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter (The AI will always set Ryko, and only flip it if the opponent controls a card)
- Malefic Dragons (The AI will only summon them if a face-up field spell or Skill Drain exists)
- Raigeki Break, Compulsory Evacuation Device (AI will only use these on the opponent's cards)
- Field Spells (The AI will set and activate a field spell if it does not control one, or if Geartown is already active)
- "Stall" cards (AI will always set high-DEF monsters as well as other certain cards like Spirit Reaper, Marshmallon and Arcana Force 0 - The Fool)
- AI will always battle with its highest ATK monster first if the opponent controls a monster (and only if the AI would be successful in battle). Likewise, the AI will always battle with the lowest ATK monster if the opponent controls no monsters.
- A few "helper" functions to aid in further scripting.
- The AI will also try to "bluff" by setting spell cards if it has no set trap cards.
All that helps the AI to play Malefic Skill Drain quite decently. Other decks might gain from this as well.
As with my previous AI script, simply download this to the "ai" folder, back up any existing ai.lua file, rename this to "ai.lua" and you're good to go.
I've included a deck for the AI to use along with this. It's of course a Malefic Skill Drain deck that uses Geartown and Necrovalley.

So here's an update, with the previous version's bugs, glitches and oversights fixed, along with a few new additions:
- The AI will now Xyz and Synchro summon, as well as special summon other ways.
- Dark Armed Dragon (The AI will only activate its effect if the opponent controls a card)
- Chaos Sorcerer (The AI will only use the effect if the opponent has either an attack-position monster with 2300+ ATK or a defense-position monster with 2300+ DEF)
- Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning (Same as Chaos Sorcerer, but will look for 3000+ ATK/DEF.)
- Allure of Darkness (The AI will only activate this if it has a DARK monster in hand)
- Wind-Up Zenmaines/Gachi Gachi Gantetsu (The AI will always Xyz summon these in defense position)
- Added a Normal Summon/Set "Blacklist", of cards for the AI to never normal summon or set, such as Battle Fader, Swift Scarecrow, and the E-Dragons and Minis (to avoid the AI tributing away its newly Xyz-summoned Rank 7's. Edit: Also Exodia and its limbs.)
