Basic rules

Two or more people take turns to play.
Only nouns are permitted.
A player who plays a word ending in the mora N (ん) loses the game, as no Japanese word begins with that character.
Words may not be repeated.
Phrases connected by no (の) are permitted, but only in those cases where the phrase is sufficiently fossilized to be considered a "word".
Example: sakura (さくら) → rajio (ラジオ) → onigiri (おにぎり) → risu (りす) → sumou (すもう) → udon (うどん)

There are various optional and advanced rules, which must be agreed on before the game begins.

This is a very fun little word game. It's incredibly simple, and there's only two things to know... The word you post has to begin with the letter the previous word ended with. And you can't repeat words at all. The goal is to go as far as possible, until someone loses.



There's only one little catch. This game is originally Japanese, so this one odd rule is retained. You can not have a word end with the letter "N". This is the tricky wildcard. To fit the original theme, compound words (EX: snowball) that are without any form of - or so forth, are allowed. You can use YGO related words like Slifer or Archetype names. You, however, are reduced to only using nouns. So those rules are pretty simple, right? It could be worse, at least we're not doing it in Japanese, as fun as that'd be. But that might be a little too much to ask. It's supposed to go on for a very long time, so at start you won't notice how tricky this game can actually be. It's not as hard as it sounds. Moving on, the first word obviously has to be a pretty standard for the situation...
