| Duel Format: O-X-O 25 points DECK CONSTRUCTION: 15/20 deck count - 4pts deck performance - 3pt Consistency And Synergy - 3pts new ideas / creativity / originality - 2pts advancement / Sophistication - 3pts Notes: The deck was an odd mix in some places, but it mostly worked. Some weird choices, considering, but overall it works. With the upcoming set being light based, and using the warrior engine, I had to cut down just a little bit for originality. Full marks for deck count, because 42 is the maximum I'd see being consistent in most cases. The deck had some issues, but that goes without saying mine did as well. Disigma in the extra deck doesn't feel like it gets to see too much play... So that feels a little out of place, but as a light deck with many warriors, it worked rather well. PERFORMANCE: 25/30 Game one and game two felt like I was dueling separate people. Game one, you really showed me that you know what you're doing, and you capitalized from turn one. Each of my checks and counters was negated, nulled, and reduced to nothing at all. Game two was definitely weaker. It felt like the tides were switched, which I can't hold against you too much. I had a pretty bad hand the first duel, as well. There was hardly a point in siding too much against a deck so similar to your own, so there's no points gained or lost in that aspect. You managed to get over a lot of my strategies in the third duel, but I couldn't help but feel that I misplayed myself rather hard that last battle phase due to a recent addition to the deck I was using. All and all your performance was above-par, even if game two more showed the flaws that your deck can have. + 3 points on good attitude. It was... en-LIGHT-ening. Total Score: 68/80 Welcome to: Ra Yellow Dormitory!REPLAYS: OneTwoThree
Closure: As a final note... Obelisk Blue Dormitory isn't very far off. You appear to have gotten much better in your time here, based off of the last results, anyway. Don't lose hope, you're making great progress! Interestingly enough, I think you could get away with one or two Hidden Armory. Release Restraint Wave is another interesting tech, as the staple equip cards just re-equip when destroyed. So you're essencially destroying their backrow at no cost. As far as Disigma... I don't think this card is all that of use to you, and I'd swap it for Zubaba General. This card turns your dead draw warriors into awesome equips, for just 2 monsters. You're possibly stretching your deck in too many directions, but hopefully my advice is at least considered. |
